Vinay Panchal, MD

Dr. Panchal is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and the co- founder of North State Primary Medical Care. He currently practices as a hospitalist at Enloe Medical Center . He is dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality primary care for adults, with a strong emphasis on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and personalized care.

Dr. Panchal completed his Internal Medicine residency at Saint Peter’s University Hospital, affiliated with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and has extensive experience caring for patients in both outpatient and hospital settings. This background allows him to manage a wide range of medical conditions while coordinating care seamlessly across specialties when needed.

At North State Primary Medical Care, Dr. Panchal believes in building long-term relationships with patients through clear communication, compassion, and shared decision-making. His clinical interests include preventive health, diabetes and hypertension management, cardiovascular risk reduction, and comprehensive care for complex medical conditions.

Dr. Panchal speaks English, Hindi, and Gujarati, basic medical Spanish allowing him to better serve patients from diverse backgrounds in the North State community.

Edward T. Wilson, DO ,MPH

Dr. Edward Wilson is a board-certified internal medicine physician with extensive experience caring for adults with a wide range of medical needs. He practices as a hospitalist at Enloe Medical Center, where he manages complex medical conditions, leads multidisciplinary teams, and contributes to clinical quality and patient safety initiatives.

Dr. Wilson completed his internal medicine residency at SUNY Buffalo, training in diverse settings including tertiary care hospitals and VA medical centers. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Rocky Vista University and holds a Master of Public Health in Health Management and Policy from Portland State University. His background reflects a strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care and population health.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Wilson has held physician leadership roles including Chair of the Hospitalist Department and Vice President of the Chico Hospitalist Group. He has chaired peer review efforts, served on credentialing and stroke committees, and remains actively involved in physician wellness initiatives.

As a co-founder of this practice, Dr. Wilson is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality primary care in the Chico community. He believes primary care should emphasize prevention, continuity, and long-term relationships—partnering with patients to support sustainable, whole-person health.
